Shoot ‘n Season

January 5th, 2007

 Ammo with Flavor.
Okay, …I’m not a hunter. Never have had a real desire to hunt, but I’ve got nothing against hunters. But I did spend a large part of my life as a chef/cook.

Anyway, the idea of this product is that instead of plain shot the bird hunter uses special ’seasoned shot’ made of bio-degradable pellets of seasonings such as lemon-pepper, cajun, etc.
I just can’t decide if this is the stupidest idea ever, or if it really makes sense. SeasonShot (coming soon?).

Stem Cell Teeth

November 17th, 2006

A hot topic in the news recently, stem cells are a potentially invaluable tool for the cure of devastating diseases such as Parkinsons and Alzheimers.

This company lets you preserve stemcells found in childrens baby teeth, presumably to be used at a later date for medical reasons. Weird, or a smart decision?? Only time will tell.
